This presentation will focus upon the most current developmental trends within the CBM/CMM subset of the natural gas industry. It will recap how this continually expanding component of the Nations energy supply has progressed during the past 15+ years followed by a detailed analysis of current developmental tactics and strategies as seen from an operator’s perspective or from “Where the rubber hits the road.” A logical and sequential step-by-step approach will be employed to identify and define currently utilized CBM/CMM developmental tendencies. Finally, the future state, both short and long term, of this vitally important industry subset will be examined as an extension of the prevailing tendencies. Developmental opportunities and enhancements will be discussed in a contrast and comparison format.
